EVOLUTIONARY SPIRITUALITY RELOADED

LET’S TAKE A DEEPER LOOK AT EVOLUTIONARY spirituality and Unique Self, this time from the fundamental perspective of parts and wholes. Right relationship between parts and wholes are the Source’s code of reality. In evolutionary mysticism, knowing the right relationship between parts and wholes is the secret key that gives you the mastery and wisdom necessary to make your life a triumph.

Arthur Koestler, the Hungarian writer and philosopher, has correctly adduced the claim that the basic monad of reality is not quarks or atoms or whatever other smaller sub-unit you might dream up. The basic monad of reality is parts and wholes. All reality is made up of parts and wholes. Atoms are both whole and part of molecules. Molecules are both whole and part of cells. Cells are both whole and part of organelles. Organelles are both whole and part of larger organisms.

Jumping to the human level, you have the individual, who is both a whole and part of a larger whole, the family. The family is both a whole and part of a larger whole, the clan or community. The community is both a whole and part of a larger community. Until we get to the nation, which is both a whole and part of a larger whole, the world. The world is both a whole and part of a larger whole, the galaxy.1

When a part pretends to be a whole, or tries to railroad the whole, we have trouble. Imagine what happens when an organ in the body starts acting not as part of a larger whole, but independently of the whole system. When the whole tries to absorb or dominate the part, we have trouble. Imagine what happens when one nation, a part, refuses to be part of the League of Nations, but remains apart, attempting to conquer all the other parts. Conversely, imagine the loneliness of a person, biological cell, a sentence, an idea, or even a musical note that is not in right relationship with other parts.

It is in right relationship between parts and wholes that balance and harmony are created—which in turn create depth, productivity, and success.

Right relationship between parts and whole is utterly essential to reality. In this chapter, we will look at the compelling relevance of part-whole harmony in uncovering the significance and meaning of your unique life.

The Whole Is in the Part

God incarnates as the initiating and sustaining energy of the evolutionary process and of All-That-Is. This face of God lives and courses through you when you realize your Unique Self.

Of course, merely part of God cannot exist in you. Physicist David Bohm reminded us a few years back that divine reality, All-That-Is, God, is holographic. Or in mathematical terms, all of reality is composed of fractals.

Simply put, that means that in every part is the whole. The all lives in all of its parts and particularized. More than that, form and compelling goddess is made identifi expressions. The mystery is that the more the part emphasizes
